Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding given to schools in England to help disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. In 2019-2020, the amounts allocated broke down as follows:

PE & Sport Premium
Physical Education & Sport matters a lot to us at Sherburn Hungate; they make an important contribution to the health and wellbeing of everyone. We know that an innovative, varied PE curriculum and opportunities for sport outside of school hours has a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and academic achievement of all our children.
The Department for Education awards each primary school in England an annual amount of £16,000.00 plus an extra £10.00 per eligible pupil to help fund Physical Education and Sport.
